You Will Not Be Disappointed!

We have used Butch Veigel and Happy Hollow builders for two remodeling projects. He is amazing! During the first project we put an addition on our house, as well as a new outdoor area with a kitchen and covered patio. The second project a few years later was a full remodel of our interior, including removal of walls, new kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms and floors throughout the house. Butch demands high quality from all of his subcontractors and his carpentry skills are the best around. Any time there was an issue, Butch makes sure it is taken care of and that the customer is happy with the project. I cannot recommend him enough, you will not be disappointed!

The Quality of the Entire Project is Unmatched!

Butch and his team expanded our garage, built a separate cabana with bath out by our pool. The expanded our walkway, our patio, pergola, outdoor kitchen, etc. the quality of the entire project is unmatched. Butch and his team worked tirelessly to make the project perfect. From beginning to end, it went smoothly. They minimized any disruption or mess throughout the entire project. We are truly as happy with the finished product as any we have ever done. They are simply the best!

Would Absolutely Use Happy Hollow Builders Again!

Happy Hollow Builders is an exceptional company!  Butch (owner) is remarkably honest, hardworking and dedicated. He truly takes pride in his work and makes every possible effort to ensure his client’s happiness, frequently asking about our satisfaction with the project along the way. We had an extensive renovation on a 92-year house and encountered many unexpected issues. We had full confidence that Butch and his team could and would handle any issues that arose. Butch is an extremely talented carpenter and meticulous about the quality of his (and his subs) work. In fact, the city inspector commented on the quality of his carpentry, stating that he wished he saw that quality of work in all of his inspections. Pauline Veigel is also an incredible asset to this business. She is highly organized and diligent with the daily operations. Butch and Pauline provide a personal level of service that goes above and beyond the ordinary. In order to keep our project on time, Pauline would personally wait in the permit office for long periods to expedite the process. She also offered to help us with cleaning and moving back into our house during the final stages of the renovation. Additionally, as a surprise, Butch restored an original transom that we discovered during our renovation, taking the time on his weekends to bring it back to life. Butch and Pauline are incredibly responsive. They answer calls during non-business hours and while we tried not to abuse this we did urgently need their assistance on a weekend. They did not hesitate to make a 40-minute drive to help out! I cannot comment enough on Butch’s integrity. It can be a challenge to find a builder that puts your best interests first, and Happy Hollow Builders does exactly that! Butch also has long term subs that provide the same honesty and quality of work that you would expect. Lastly, Butch and Pauline are easy and fun to work with, while being competent and compassionate. I would recommend Happy Hollow Builders without hesitation and would absolutely use them again!

He Is One Of The Best Contractors Around!

My husband and I have known Butch for over five years.  We first met Butch when we used his company to do an addition for us at our home in Sarasota, Florida.  The addition included a large covered porch area, outdoor kitchen, pool and pool house.  We were extremely pleased with the quality of work provided by Butch, his crew, and all the subcontractors that he uses.  Whenever an issue came up, Butch made sure to get all problems handled.  He has a detailed eye and doesn’t cut corners, always making sure things are done correctly.  We absolutely love how he transformed our house! We were so happy with Butch, that in January 2020, we used his company again to do an interior remodel of our house.  This remodel included all new floors throughout the house, new kitchen, master bedroom and master bath.  Butch and his team delivered! We enjoy working with Butch so much, and we have recommended him to several friends.  He is one of the best contractors around.  Tennessee is lucky to have him!
